Uses . Directions Apply a thin layer of Aphthasol to the affected area as soon as possible after noticing the ulcer. Generally Aphthasol is used four times daily. It is best used after brushing/flossing following meals and at bedtime. With gentle pressure, dab the Aphthasol paste onto each ulcer in the mouth with a fingertip. Continue use until the ulcer heals. Healing or pain control should occur within 10 days. If not, contact your dentist. Wash hands immediately after applying Aphthasol.If an overdose of Aphthasol is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Aphthasol may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea and vomiting. If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. Storage Store Aphthasol at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from sunlight and moisture.
